KIMONO KANTHA/SUZANI LAGOON

DESCRIPTION

These short kimonos are made with vintage Indian Kantha (recycled saris and patched with hand embroidery stitches) that we select piece by piece. This kantha has been enhanced with Suzani embroidery, a type of embroidery and decorative tribal textile from Central Asia.

Each piece is unique and bears witness to a traditional cultural heritage of the Indian subcontinent.

• Reversible. (the reversible does not have a pocket on this kimono)
• Recycled and transformed vintage kantha
• 2 pockets on each side
